Short Curriculum

Joana Couto. Architect (UL Famalicão, 2003). She is member of the Architectural Studies research group of CEAA | Centro de Estudos Arnaldo Araújo (FCT RIunit 4041) since 2010. She has participated as a research fellow in the FCT project Southern Modernisms (EXPL/CPCHAT/0191/2013) in 2014-2015 and in the transnational collaborative project MODSCAPES | Modernist Reinventions of the Rural Landscapes (HERA.15.097) in 2017-2019. She also develops activity as an architect, in co-authorship with Bruno Matos, in their own atelier, JBarquitectura, since 2009.
