Short Curriculum

Alexandra Costa. Visual artist and researcher. PhD student in Fine Arts at the University of Fine Arts in Porto. She has a degree in Visual Arts from ESAP (2015), a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Art (2016) and a master's degree in Visual Arts - Artistic Practices and Research (2022) from the same institution. She works in the area(s) of Humanities with an emphasis on Arts and Critical Studies. In 2024-25, she took part as a guest artist in the curatorial project SINS AND CAPITALS or a certain mist for empty ( )spaces. In 2022-23, she was a CEAA fellow in the FCT-funded programme integrated in the project ON ABSTRACTION [or a certain concern about an object]. In 2021, she was resident artist at PROJECT TOMATO: body, work, poverty, curated by Eduarda Neves. In the same year, she took part in the group exhibition NEM NOITE NEM DIA OU COMO ESTAR DE FRENTE PARA O RELÓGIO.’, as part of Porto's Image Month programme. She has taken part in several group exhibitions, including SEM IMAGO MUNDI.
