ArT is a scientific cluster that fosters and welcomes cultural studies, particularly in the field of architecture, with a perspective on others.
ArT aims to:
Respond to the demands of contemporary society by providing a hybrid platform for discussing the meaning of architecture.
Recognise Identity, Language, and the Local as an argument against the sameness that seems to prevail in Western architecture.
Identify the rhythms of the world as a flow that permeates and embraces humankind, challenging the limited Western relationship with and approach to nature while construing an idea of meta-objectual architecture.
Build bridges between different forms of ‘otherness' through a triangulation between Africa, Asia, and the West.
